The Lake Shore Limited's New York section skirts the Hudson River at Breakneck Ridge near Newburgh, New York. Twenty hours after leaving Chicago, the train has shed its Boston section at Albany Renssellaer and is making the last sprint into New York City. This painting commemorates the artist's journey on the train from South Bend, Indiana to NYC in May 2010 and he thanks the wonderful people of Amtrak for making the trip so memorable.
