Adelaide-based photographer David Morrell was responsible for the photograph on which this work is based as well as the original photographs for two night scenes also displayed on this site. This painting features a Virgin Blue Boeing 737-700 aircraft and serves to placate those visitors who have complained of the lack of representation of Australia's second airline in the paintings.
