Qantas Boeing 707-338 VH-EAI "City of Darwin" banks over London following its departure from Heathrow Airport on a summer evening in the early 1970's. The aircraft picks up the last of the light while the city is already in shadow, the river winding in from the west with the Staines reservoirs near the airport just visible in the distance.
